Based in Melbourne, Dead Pretty Bookings is an independent artist management and booking agency, focused on championing and supporting emerging Australian acts.

Established in 2025 by Sarah Russell, Dead Pretty Bookings offers management, booking, consulting, and marketing services to up-and-coming artists in the early stages of their careers.

With an artist-first approach, our goal is to build sustainable, meaningful careers that align with our artists’ values, vision and creative goals.

Whilst studying a Bachelor of Entertainment Management at Collarts, Sarah was heavily involved in the local live music scene in Melbourne, attending gigs multiple nights a week and making lifelong friendships. She also started doing freelance gig work at local shows and festivals. Through this, Sarah began managing Geelong-based alternative rock band, Blondehouse, for a uni project. In the first few months of management, she began taking on a booking agent role for other local bands. Wanting to combine her work into something tangible, Dead Pretty Bookings was born to be the hub of all of Sarah's work in the industry.
